Title: Chronarch side plate removal

 ??? how do I get the sideplate off a Chronarch 101 SF? There are no external screws on the side opposite the removable side.

Welcome aboard, lots and lots of good stuff here to learn about maintenance and rebuilding various makes of reels. Mostly conventional, spinning reel is kind of a dirty word around here/

Back to reel, there is piece on your nonhandle side, the turnkey dial (key # BNT2235), pick up on the little tab in the middle and turn it counterclockwise. I believe that's right. That's a lefthanded reel so be careful.
