glad to finally get you through the spam filter, welcome! the left side plate looks standard. the bearing cup unscrews and the bearing comes out with it.
Aloha! and congratulations on your new addition to your collection.
Welcome aboard Backlash.
I've deleted my comment about spool width after looking at the photos again and deciding that I read tape measures poorly..
Took it apart yesterday and noticed the part number on the bridge was that of a jigmaster 505, did they ever make plates to a 505
Penn 505 and 506 bridges are stamped 3-505.
Not sure about the plates though.
Yes it is stamped 3-505 it is not but is not a 506 also the frame and spool fit on my jigmaster 505 so it is not a 99 width I'm just trying to figure out if a jigmaster 505 sideplate was made
A 505 accu-kit had to be made, I had to customize the 505 gears to get them to fit my 500 accu-kit.
Here is mine:

I'm going to take the guts out of my 505 and see if they fit with no prob

Sal do you own every red penn spool known to man lol
So it looks like a 505 sideplate was made it shows no grinding inside and 505 gears fit perfect with no binding

Maybe you can use the 505 yellowfin spool. All you gotta do is buy the frame. The purple will match. LOL
I wasn't planning on keeping the reel as the type of fishing I do I don't really need it.
