Nice, South Island is the spiritual home of browns, get a few up here but mostly rainbows.

Now that's what you want to see when fly fishing, a great rise.

See we learn something new every day.  When we were kids we called them dining needles or we grouped them all as dragon flies.  I Googled damsel fly and found out they are indeed a damselfly (not that I doubted you Bob).  I wanted to find out more about them.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damselfly BTW that is a very cool video.  I am impressed with a lot of things that come out of New Zealand.  Dominick

I know some North Island spots on the Rangitikei, if you want to target rainbows.
