Upgrading Drag on Pro Gear 541

I was hoping that somebody could point me in the right direction to upgrading the drag stack in my Pro Gear 541 I know that there is a way to upgrade the drag   but I am not sure how to do it.hope guys on this board would be able to help me out to get this reel upgraded.

As it stands right now, I have to really lock down the drag... can i use HT-100 drag washer kit??

Thanks

Penn's 113HSP is the kit you would need to order, plus an extra 113H carbon fiber washer for under the gear.  If the 541 flexes like the 251, then you may max out at 18-20# of drag (the 251 maxes out at 14# of drag before the spool flexes and contacts the frame).

If the spool is stiffer, you may want to updade to my drag kit as Frank directed you.  The kit comes with 7 SS metal washers and 8 carbon fiber washers to give you a 7+1 drag configuration.  If you decided to do this, I highly recommend SS gears like the one Black Pearl sells http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=6259.0.

The 541 can handle drags up to 40 pounds or so as I have Bryan's 7+1 kit in mine.
