yeah, they wear down after a while.  sometimes you have to replace the pin and the plate.  not a cheap fix......  :-\

36C-80TW 35.75  Did this to some 30s the plates get worn down too!  Make sure you give it a look, not a cheap fix

you are looking at the clicker parts (36a, 36, 95, 62, 35, 18a, and 38a), plus the ratchet plate (81) and screws (101).  is this something that you are going to tackle yourself?

I have a friend with a 50vsw and another with an Everol 12/0. Now on there reel I have notice that at full spool the clicker is alot quieter than it is when there is line taken off the spool such as when we do our drops for sharks. Is this the issue or is it just quiet all the way through. It seems to me on theirs that the line acts as a type of sound dampener.
Just thought I would throu this out there before you start shelling out money.
