snooping around at my buddies body shop today found a jigmaster boat rod model 3770C 7foot 20 - 40 #anyone have any experience with these?when were these made never seen one before.
It apparently was made by Penn in the 80s as an inshore trolling rod. By the picture it looks like a little Senator rod. I think back then their blancks were solid glass but it may be a solid tip glass rod. It would be cool to match to a built 501 or albacore special.

It feels soild,I was looking for a rod for my 501 now I have it.couldn't believe it when I saw it :osetting in the corner, full of dust and some overspray didn't stop me from feeling Getty ::)I can't wait to free line some sardines for some snappers with my new set up.
