Impressive catch! Only too bad he didn't release it back after the fight. If he did I could have had a chance on that monster in september! Me and many more. And breed many more little butts.

I wonder what they did with it after the photo shoot and weigh in, throw it on the trash heap? You can't eat that large butts.

Missed that one. Still can't understand why they didn't release it. Does IGFA require a weigh in of halibuts or is it enough to measure it?

For IGFA consideration the fish must be weighted on a certified with other criteria also needed.
