Title: PG255/PG251 Yokes - $4.50 plus shipping
Post by: Bryan Young on February 11, 2015, 06:06:24 AM
Well, you guys know that I really love these small PG255s and PG251s.  I have never needed any parts...until I was asked to put a few together...then I discovered that the Yokes are different than the Jigmaster although every other part fits except the yoke.  The yokes are very similar to Penn's 12-155 but the 12-155 is slightly smaller.  So, in order to put these reels together, I needed PG255 or PG251 yokes.

Well, after extensive searching, there were none to be found, so I decided to get some cut...I was looking at 10, but the cost for 10 was the same as 50 due to the cost of setting up the machines.  I continually hit the reality that labor is majority of costs when getting custom parts made.  So here it is:

I have 40 stainless steel yokes for sale at $4.50 each plus shipping by USPS.

PM me if you are interested.

Thank you.
Bryan

Good to know Bryan...thanks. I may take you up on a couple for my 255's. Any other PG parts you have, particularly screws?

Found a slight problem with my yokes on a couple of reels and none on others.  Sometime the yoke contacts the main gear at the corners of the yoke as shown in the photo in red.  I will be grinding down all of the yokes at these locations and will fix the design.  If I had sent you a yoke, please send me a PM with your name and address and I'll send you new yokes irrespective of whether the yokes contact the main gear or not.  This will insure that it will never hit the main gear.

Sorry for any trouble.

Bryan
