Yes, we should absolutely do that.

I have one other friend that would go, with your wife that would make 4.  My friend Bob retired USGS/vet may also be in town and interested in going.  We should try to set something up.

curious...why don't the other boats let you keep your catch?

They are big money over here.  It's still easy to get a commercial license, meaning basicallg anyone can sell their catch.. on the auction block (for a percentage cut), to retailers directly, or to private parties.  Selling the catch helps generally goes to supplement crew pay.
