What do you guys think of Fin-Nor Offshore spinning Gears?  They say that they are stainless but are they any good?  Thanks

now sure about the spinners.  the conventionals are copies of the daiwa saltists, and i am not that fond of either.......   :-\

Alan do you like Okuma's gears on their spinners?  What are they made out of?

spinners are interesting.  they can be a nightmare to service.  yet all you have to do is pack all the bearings with grease, get some grease on the non-exposed metal surfaces, and switch out the drags for carbon fiber.  nothing could be simpler.  do that and they will all work just fine.  alan
