While out to visit Alan, this week, I had the privilege to meet and visit with Jon at his house. He had helped me on some stuff in the past and I really wanted to meet him. Let's set aside that walking into his rod room is just an amazing experience for a gear-head, I really wanted to say what a great guy he is as well as excellent host, taking time out to show me a couple of the techniques that make his rods special. I've been building for twenty years and won't be able to approach his level of fit and finish developed through experimentation and dedication. The guy is a true gentleman and artist.

If you are looking for that rod for your favorite piece, this is a great way to go.

Tightlines today, brother!!!!!!

You get spoiled fishing with his rods real quick. He knows how to fish them too.

Thank you guys for the kind words!

It was a pleasure to meet you as well and I'm glad Alan got you out on the water while you were here!  If you're ever in the bay area again, just remember mi casa su casa.
