Title: Anyone recognize this thread pattern
Post by: Bill B on November 25, 2016, 11:52:11 PM
Backstory is this is a 6' 80lb (?) rod, probably built in Southern California in the 70's during the 5+ hook ganion dropping 3lbs+ lead to over 300+ it was paired with a 6/0 Senator (black plates) w/power handle, and a rail plate. There is a roller stripper (shown) and roller tip......I first thought maybe a Harnell due to the black rod, red threads and painted black butt, but a Harnell is usually found with gold threads also.....I cannot see the rod information due to the yellow tuna cord wrapping protecting the rod where the rail plate is mounted....I do not want to remove the tuna cord to find out.....any guesses?    Bill
