Post by: broadway on April 07, 2011, 04:12:49 AM
Here's all of Shimano's Schematics, current and discontinued.  Just go through the scroll down menu until you find the reel you're looking for:

Hope this helps,
Dom

Alan, I am looking for a diagram of a Shimano Triton Speedmaster II. Looking thru the Shimano list I do not find it.
I have a almost mint SMII. When taken out of gear the spool binds. But not all the time. This may be my doing. I recently serviced this reel, Checked, and greased the drag, Etc. I may have lost a washer, or reversed something??? Anyway a diagram or help would be appreciated.

              Thanks,
                   Dave S.

P.S. I now have 6 Okumas, and am waiting for a 8.

I have a speedmaster II that needs part # 0236,the star for the drag.Anyone know if it is available anywhere?.Or if the star from any other reel may fit,I don't have access to any of the small trinidads but think maybe the smaller reels star may fit since I believe it to be the same gear ratio. At this point,I dont care if the star is gold,as long as I can use it.I tried Mikes but never heard back from them.

what a wonderful site -- SOOOO happy I found it!!!  many thanks to the creator & contributors!

is there a source for older JDM schematics (organized in ENGLISH!!!)...  or, a member who understands Japanese enough to help me out?  I have a few beloved JDM's that I use very sparingly, only because I'm reluctant to service them without the blueprints:

Scorpion Metanium XT (L/H): I upgraded it externally with a longer 4-BB Chronarch-B handle, but fear digging in the innards (not much practice with Baitcasters  :-[ )...  could I get by with Chronarch-SF & Chronarch-B schematics?

Biomaster LS 2500S rear-drag: I'm very comfortable with most pre-2005 US Shimano spinners; I can handle rear drags & worm gears just fine, individually; but I never worked a reel that has BOTH...  could I get by with UK Biomaster 2500RA/3000SRA schematics?

TwinPower XT 4000/5000 schematics would be nice - if handy, but I'm sure it's just a Sustain FA with better handle, so I'm OK.

I only need schematics for the JDM models in bold -- I have everything else & all the reels are working perfectly, so there's no rush.  Thanks, in advance, for the help (or, even, commiseration  ::))

Hello, this is my first post on this site. This is a great site, you guys have a wealth of knowledge.
I have been looking for drawings for a Curado Bantam 200. There are no other numbers on it that I can find. When I download one for a 200, I always end up getting a 200B or a 100. My question would be is the 200b the bantam and is it the same as a 100?
I am going to install carbontex drag. I had a local reel repairman work on it for me, he installed a new drag and nothing changed. When pulling drag out by hand it jerks badly. From most of the drawings that I've seen all the drag components are the same but I would like to know for sure which drawing is correct as I may need to order other parts later.
Thanks 😁🐟

Ok here goes.

Just bought a Shimano Bantam 1000 Tournament State side today.

Does anybody know or have a schematic for this reel or can scan one up from their own copy and PDF me a copy?

It's a 32+ year old reel that I have some huge appreciation for and finally after a lot of llooking I found one in great condition bit without box and papers...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Andrew

Hi Wooli.

The closest is the Bantam 1000P.  However mine is the Bantam 1000 Tournament.

Unsure what may be the difference but they look the same bar the handles?

Thanks anyhow.

Still on the hunt Shimano Bantam 1000 Tournament (Circa 1981 to 1983)

Thanks.

Hi. Does anybody have the schematics for Shimano Sahara 1000 GTE, or know how to get hold of it? It is approximately 10-15 years old, and a rear drag model.
Or if anyone knows the dimension of the ball bearings in it?
Thanks in advance.

Don't quote me on this but just about every smaller Shimano spinner I have worked on uses 7x14x5, 7x13x4, and 7x11x3. This doesn't help you much but it will give you and idea what to look for when you take it apart.

Hi again,

I have done some digging during day time and found out some more:

handi2, you are right on the dimensions. It is using 2 x 7x13x4mm (Shimano part #RD0930 ), and 1 x 7x14x5mm (Shimano part #RD0026)

MeL B, that link lead to a front drag reel, but i was able to find a similar 1000 class reel i can look at on that site.

Thank you both for your help!

TwinPowerXT is the JDM version of '97 SustainFA (virtually identical -- diff. handle & color)
your BiomasterXT is the JDM version of a Stradic...
probably FE('97), but also check FD ('94,95,96)...
use 4000-size, in case 6000/8000-size was not offered in US that year:

need photos, or exact model, or year of production
should be a Sustain from same year & nearly identical
maybe different handle & color scheme -- so, some different part #'s
(true for older models, not sure about newer)

search both, "Twinpower" & "Twin Power"

The model is SC541. Thank you Philaroman

that doesn't look like any Shimano model#...  from where are you reading it?
can you figure out what year?  not sure how/if Sustain/TwinPower diverged after move to Malaysia,
but if your TP is more than 20 years old, then it's same as Japan-made Sustain
look at schematics for SA1000F, SA1000FA, SA1000FB, SA1000FD

you can find SA1000F here:
https://www.reelschematic.com/wp-content/uploads/schematics/Shimano/Sustain/SHIMANO%20SUSTAIN%20SA1000F%2893-22%29.pdf (https://www.reelschematic.com/wp-content/uploads/schematics/Shimano/Sustain/SHIMANO%20SUSTAIN%20SA1000F%2893-22%29.pdf)

...but, reelschematic has some confusion w/ FB & FD, so get SA1000FA, SA1000FB, SA1000FD here:
http://www.shimanopromotions.com.au/schematics/ (http://www.shimanopromotions.com.au/schematics/)
if you have a newer TwinPower <20-y-o,  type "TP1000F" in Model & they all pop up
(bad search engine; difficult to navigate site; type in Model, only -- EXACTLY!)

that looks like 1993 original TP/SustainF -- screw-in handle; SuperStopper A/R (not instant); bearing under spool like Stella

if you have SuperStopper II instant ARB, then it's 1997 TwinPowerXT/SustainFA (through-gear handle, no bearing under spool)

you can use Sustain schematics -- only paint & handles are different
