Title: shakespear tiger rods

wondering if anyone else uses these fishing rods I currently use a Shakespear Tiger Rod BWC/AO ( Aluminum Oxide fuji guides ) line stripper to tip,2201 7' 1 piece rod rated 20 - 50 lb test medium action matched with a Penn 330gti reel spooled with 30 lb test Berkeley Big Game for sturgeon,striper and shark / sting ray also a Shakespear BWC 2200 7' 1 piece rod medium action rated 12 - 30 lb test matched with a Penn 310gti spooled with 12 lb test Berkeley Big Game for inshore stiper,halibut.what do you guys think about the Tiger Rods. By the way I fish in Northern Caliifornia San Francisco / delta areas.whats your rod(s) reel(s) of choice to use.

i fished with those for a long time.  for the price, they're great rods.  alan

That was my first saltwater rod! Coupled with a Daiwa Sealine-X 40SHA caught 3 nice healthy homeguard yellowtail +35lbs each on it. Great rod and has not snapped on me yet. They're not pretty but they'll do the job.
