Title: SHIMANO TLD 50 2 SPEED
Post by: dougwm10 on May 15, 2011, 04:54:35 AM
Hi

I need to strip down - service - and re-build my Shimano TLD50 2 speed reel and any help or advice with the procedures to follow would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a download available showing the steps to be taken and recommendations based on prvious experience.

Hope someone can help

if you can familiarize youself with the tld 20/30II post and the tld 50 schematics, you will get through just fine.  they are very similar.  alan

BTW, I believe this is the same for the TLD 50A, TLD50WLRS, and Tiagra 50W

However, the Tiagra 50WLRS  is        (())(())|

I don't think the bellevilles changed between the 2 generations of each of these reels.
