My Dad gave me a TLD 5, I am new to the Cal Delta and set it up with 50# power pro for sturgeon and lepord shark. I dont know anything about the reel and even less about species im trying to catch with it. Is it a decent reel? Do you have upgrades for it? Any sugestions

i saw a "new in the box" shimano tld 5, never spooled, still in the original bag, original box, original bill of sale, go for $500 on ebay. crazy! i have a carbon fiber drag upgrade for it. the procedure is similar to the tld 15 rebuild. great little reel. let me know if i can help. alan
