Title: Pro gear parts
Post by: captainwayne on March 11, 2019, 04:04:29 PM
I'm a professional fishing captain in south Florida and use several of the older Progears. Finally some of the main andpinion gears are failing, and I'd like to know who may have some.
Thank you in advance!

Post what models you have. Most of the gears if not all are stock Penn gears; i.e. 545 uses Penn 4/0 Senator gears readily available at Mystic Parts (as well as new carbon drags).

yeah, you should be able to use jigmaster 500 gears in the smaller reels.  if you have the albacore specials or classic series, those were proprietary gears and you are stuck.   :-\
