I'm working on a post war Surfmaster 100 and it has an aluminum spool that does not look like a Penn spool. Inside each flange there is "CN" over 6 dots and below that mark is 3 more dots. Could this be a Carl Newell spool? The rest of the reel is stock, stand and bars.....thanks Bill
CN stands for Carl Newell, really nice spool.
