Hi everyone.

Sorry if this is a silly question.

The Penn specs show that its the same main gear 5-60 that goes into the Long Beach and Surfmaster. But, the specs show the 13-200 pinion gear for the Surfmaster, and the 13-85 pinion gear for the Longbeach.

Are these pinion gears interchangeable? That is, can I use the 13-85 pinion gear with the 5-60 main gear in a Surfmaster? I'm trying to figure out which parts in my parts bucket I can use and which ones I may need to search for or order.

The #13-85 pinion won't fit the Surfy's smaller spool shaft.
