Title: SIGMA 060 SHAKESPEARE 2200 CK drag issues
Post by: dpabrams on June 08, 2019, 02:19:07 AM
I have two of these reels and under a minimum of load the spools seem to spin too easily in relation to the drag I have set. For example, if I am reeling in a two ounce sinker, with a load of river moss, and against a slow current, I have to completely tighten the drag in order to keep the spool from spinning. So it seems that the spool spins too freely. I suspect there may be a problem within the spools 6 washers or the two washers that are on the end of the shaft and on the back of the spool. Should all these washers be dry?

Thanks,

Pete
