I was watching a show on the Pursuit channel this morning called Destination: Baj Sur. The episode was covering the 2017 Bisbee Black and Blue Marlin tournament in Cabo. The C-Bandit won with Cory as the Captain. Cory used to be the chef on the 5 days that Alan used to do on the Spirit of Adventure. I ran into him a couple of years ago when I was down at the big 3 landings for a 10 day. I was walking around and heard someone calling my name. I turned around and it was Cory! He told me all about becoming a yacht captain and competing in the Bisbee. Pretty cool! Currently, the C-Bandit is up for sale in San Diego and Cory is living in Cabo.
That is really cool. Good for him. The SOA still has great food, but I miss Cory.
