Title: Daiwa Punch?

Anyone familiar with this Daiwa Model? ... new one on me.. Its old school for sure though,  Thanks.

Those reels was introduced in the lately 60s and ends when the silver series was coming at 1974.

Have here an old UK Daiwa catalogue of 1969 (my oldest), there is a Punch 1001 in it which was not new introduced, maybe it was a year or two before.
Not sure, but i think this was the first Punch of the series, it has the old design at handle and spool.
The bigger ones must be released later, i think 1970-1973.

Those reels looks very similar to some Olympic reels, possibly both gets parts from same manufacturer.

Distinctive-looking reel.  Looks like a possible winner for med.-heavy freshwater use.
