Anyone familiar wih this.  No Snell on the hook but it seems to hold the hook out well

That's cool.  Basically a doubled uni-knot loop through a dropper loop.

I'm always interested to see new dropper knots. I'll tie a few on a rainy day and see how the strength compares.
