Like many of us regulars and veterans on Alan's Reel Repair Site — we routinely try to help each other out when possible — with hard to find parts and gear.
We buy, sell, trade, give freely — basically whatever we feel we can do at the time — that is the best for all concerned.
There are hundreds of solid folks on our site that try to "pay it forward" — often with no expectation of anything in return. But it is always nice to receive something from a fellow member.
Went to the mailbox today — and look what was in there from Harry...
(2) Cardinal 4's, a Cardinal C3, a spare spool for a Cardinal 3, and a specialty "snake-eye" driver for the Cardinals. These are not parts reels — they are in great mechanical condition. The C3 looks nearly new.
All of these will go into my personal spinning reel arsenal.

I'd like to say that, since joining the forum, I've been very impressed with the kindness, and generous attitude of all the folks here! I've seen the same attitudes on a few of the "flower forums" i'm a member of, and, I often wonder why....if folks can be so open, friendly, and "sharing" with their flowers, and fishing equipment......why in the heck can't the rest of the world "get on board", ??
your right crow, it doesn't take anything extra to be nice, there is way too much BS with politics, dem vs rep left wing , etc etc , our cops being abused, no respect for the flag with all the men and women who gave their lives for our freedom, STOP! lets get along, help each other and enjoy our beautiful country and life, we americans are blessed. harryk
