Title: Original Penn 50
Post by: handi2 on October 16, 2019, 08:20:30 PM
I have 2 of these I'm working on. New 18-50W Belleville washers. New pinion gear.

The third time I added a shim.

I can't get a usable drag and the handle turns at 20 lbs of drag. I used 2 different pinion bearings.

I know you guys can help me out. He uses them for trolling and bottom fishing. I'm sure you can use different Belleville washers.

New Dura Drag washer.

Thanks,

Keith

Any luck?

How many washers and what do you mean when you say handle turns at 20lbs of drag?

I assume you have 4 in ()()?
