too bad the honey glass sold out

rods clearance section is empty, now, but sometimes has incredible deals
especially, if it's an odd duck -- e.g., mislabeled or grossly overstocked ladies' model w/ goofy paint-job
the US-made quality is still there, but forget warranty & resale value

I was looking for St Croix Legend Salmon rod.
it splits 50/50. I wonder if it also good for Saltwater fishing from beach or pier?
