Just got the reel on a trade and there is not much on the internet about them. Does anyone know the specs on reel?

Only if you want the gears to go loud.
Keep the drag under 7# with a full spool for long, quiet life.

Since this model has the older drag arrangement(one on top, one under the gear) it would probably make around 10lbs. max. Like drumbum said, keep it around 7lbs. for best performance. This is a great bass fishing reel. 8)
I got something 5000c $35 with rod but seen them go for $150 with out rod,,,,, ;) green is good,,,,,, ;D
