I got plans to lure the local population of bream this summer, with some kind of microjigging.
I'm going to try to spool 7x nylon tippet (0,10mm) on my Micron and I'm in need for some guidance.
I got 46 meters of 7x tippet and guess i'll use it all. But what would be suitable dimension for backing?
If the backing is to thick in dimension, will the tippet cut into it?

used-up, hairy, too-short 10-20# braid works for me

Sci.Angl. used to (?) -- $8/100yd
Japanese make pre-stretched running line down to 3/4 lb.
Germans (?) used to (?) -- Tectan, Stroft
You could fill out your spool with mostly 4-6 lb mono and use a topshot of maybe 2 or 3 times the casting length of the tippet material you are using. 7x tippet is only 2.5 lb test; it won't cut into anything. A double surgeons knot is standard for attaching light tippets to slightly heavier mono (on fly leaders).
Or you could just use Dacron, string or tape to build up the arbor of your reel and load on all or however much of your tippet material you need for casting.
7x nylon tippet is 0.10 mm diameter. 5# PowerPro is 0.06 mm. You could fill the spool with PowerPro and not need a backing.

I overcame my fishing-line-decision-paralysation and judt went for a cheap braided 0,16mm PE line.
