Title: Martin 64
Post by: Christopher M Songer on October 15, 2020, 10:10:18 PM
A buddy just gave me this Martin 64 few hours ago. Not a fly guy, but interested in learning about how these function and plan on fishing it soon. Have not looked into it at all as this is my first stop. Plan on seeing what You Tube can show me. Appreciate any input in pointing me in the right direction. Thanks

Some of those old Martins are decent reels.  There's some info on the Martin 64 at the links below:

Carefully with the small bits .
Even some of the screws on old fly reels are nearly unobtainium.
Best ,

I have one somewhere... 64 sounds familiar, but there's always more models than I know about. I think mine is the best fly reel I have for the cost, and made in the USA to boot!
