Title: Parts for Progear CS 501
Post by: SeaMonster on October 16, 2020, 07:44:11 PM
Hello,  I hopeful someone can help me find a handle retaining nut and the screw that locks it in place for a CS-501.  I lost it years ago when trying to find a handle upgrade.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks-  Mike

Sure,  should the reel be disassembled to take the measurement?

Thanks guys,  the battery in my caliper is dead.  I'll pick one up tomorrow and see what it is and get back to you.

Thanks again

On another note the Nut Mr. Tani is illustrating is closer to 1/4 inch or 6.35  mm

Remember - if you measure the inside of a nut it will be smaller than measuring the outside of the shaft even if they are both tha correct size ;)
The 'minor diameter of a 5/16 nut is approx 0.265" the 'major' diameter is approx 0.3125"
From Alan's measurement his nut is probably 5/16"
