Title: Long Beach 65 Modifications
Post by: SteveL on February 21, 2021, 10:07:52 PM
I know a long time back there were discussions of modifications to the Long Beach 65.  Basically, a 29L-190 aluminum spool and a 30-66 stand which is stronger than the stock 30-65 stand plus it has holes to attach a rod clamp.

I know that this was discussed, but I don't know if any photos where posted, so here we go:

Awesome,
I wonder if there is a set of Newell bars that will fit? I know the Newell 112H stand works, but a clamp makes this so much of a stronger reel as it is.
