anyone play w/ these rods to any extent? ...opinions?
always wanted to try an early Aeroglass SUL w/ 1-4# or 1-6# line rating
just lucked into a barely-used $5 yard-sale combo w/ early FX-2550A rod
1-4# line rating seems like a fantasy -- guide system not refined enough to protect 1#, or even 2# mono
or to push to 6#, which the blank could easily handle, IMO
otherwise, it looks/feels like it would approach the strength/durability of a 2-6# UL old Howald Ugly,
w/ a bit more finesse... but it ain't no 1-4# brown Fenwick
