Title: Testing Homade jigs on Halibut
Post by: gstours on September 13, 2021, 03:24:13 PM
I got another long awaited to fish for halibut in a place that usually has heavy currents,  butt by waiting and watching the tide book the tides heights were deminishing daily so the plan was in place.....    We were anchored in about 150 feet on a slope behinf a point of an island.
We were picking up a few smaller fish constantly releasing them as the larger ones would hopefull move in.
Here a fun clip of a jig that I made and its biter..... ;)       Wish you were there,   quite a bit of fun.
