Title: Penn 4/0 w/ Accurate Plates
Post by: Marlinmate on September 15, 2021, 01:39:01 AM
Anybody making longer than stock spacing sleeves?  I'd like to take up some of the space between the star and the drag stack

If you have that much slack space in there, then I'd try adding a thick keyed metal washer or a cupped washer on top of your drag stack

I am pretty sure Mystic Parts has 3 different lengths of spacers for a 113h

Yes Ted is on the money there, also place a delrin washer under the star, that will make it easier to turn the star when you have a large fish on, cheers Don.

I added a thick metal washer to the stack and it's better.

I forgot what i had done to this reel.  I opened her up and found upgraded SS gears, 5 stack drag system, SS yoke.  The reel also has purple Accurate plates and frame with a ProGear handle.

Now to build a rod for it and rip some sea bass lips off.
