Hi Wayne,
could you please post this pic on the forum for me, it is a clicker button & shaft, from a Penn Senator 6/0,
I have never seen one of these shafts manufactured like this before, or is it excessive wear, the clicker tongue, is not too bad,
as far as ware goes, although the reel did have a lot of sand in it,
cheers, Don.

And I did enlarge the photo for this detailed shot, Enjoy.

Posting for Don in Western AU,
Wayne
Thanks a million Wayne, its out of a red Senator 6/0 114H the model with the adgustment screw on the tail plate bearing if that helps, cheers Don.
That looks just plain worn out. Probably the only lubrication it had was sand & saltwater. ;D
Whoa! It's so even looking like it coulda been modified that way.
Thanks Rudy & Greg, yes it is very even, thats what made me ask the question, I broke three screws of in the posts, two of them had a bit of metal protruding out, so I soaked them in auto transmission fluid & acetone 50/50, managed to cut a groove in the protruding screw, with the dremmel, applied a bit of heat, they came out, now I have to try & drill the other broken screw out, I have some left hand drill bits, but the chuck on the drill comes undone, when I use it in reverse, I did manage to find a couple of old posts, they look a bit rough, but will have to do, if required, its not my reel either, thanks again Wayne, that was a great job, of enlarging that picture, cheers Don.
