Got 4-old Penn conventionals, including 2- dark maroon Monofils and a nice Surfmaster 100, + a O.C. 979. Also, finally got a set of those Newell LC-1(Long Cast Bearings—actually bushings) to try out, along with some other spare Penn parts.
This handle was on the M. 25, with no numbers. The rest of the typically numbered Penn parts on this 25, had the Beachmaster numbers "155" on them. Looks like an older "football shaped" knob and the handle looks a little thicker than the usual 24-155 or 24-160. Same length as the 24-155, slightly longer than the 24-160. What era?
You never know what yer gonna find. The washer in pic.-2 is leather and was used in place of the hard fiber, under-gear washer.
That looks and sounds like a #24-60 handle G...it was the predecessor to the #24-155. Most were un-numbered like that one you have. 8)
The winner there is the 100, love those reels.
