Hi,

Plan to get the new Slammer, is there any differences between the normal model and DX model?

A couple of small differences, but the big one is that the regular series has C-n-C machined brass gears, while the DX models will have C-n-C machined "stainless" gears.

Should add, the "DX" stands for "Dealer Exclusive".
Products designated "DX" will be not be found at big box stores, or the online retailer named after a South American river.
This gives your local independent tackle shop something that is not available anywhere else.
