still rare/expensive, but double your chances & figure out
which JDM model is identical/compatible (Metanium, maybe?)

thanks for suggestion
I am not sure if any of the current shimano models will fit this older reel.
I cant find the parts anywhere so thought I'd try here

not current...  look for JDM Metanium
from same year, as your US Chronarch
body should look same, except color...  handle may be different

my older JDM Scorpion Metanium XT lefty is basically a gold Chronarch 101(A or B???)
w/ upgraded spool & downgraded shorter/simpler Curado-style handle

just keep looking through older JDM models (Metanium, Scorpion, Aldebaran, etc.)
on eBay & used/restored from specialty dealers like Ichiban:
https://www.ichibantackle.com/products/c245-baitcasting-reel/ (https://www.ichibantackle.com/products/c245-baitcasting-reel/)
until you find "YOUR BODY", then find schematic for that model to verify that
production year is close to CH-101BPV & innards are same part# where color doesn't matter

"DUH" EDIT:  Tackle Tour Forum has(had?) a sizeable fan-club for Japanese lo-pro's:
http://www.tackletour.net/viewforum.php?f=24&sid=a8fa5a36b884c2db612dd1e7d74bc2b3
somebody there, should know exact JDM-equivalent for CH-101BPV & possibly have parts

Worth fixing. Love the Chronarch reels and I'm not that big a fan of Shimano reels.  Got the 100 SF. Great little baitcaster.
