Hello every one, I have two Tiagras with the same problem, in strike it gets hard to crank, if you lower the drag it gets gradually smoothier. I looked at the bearings and they seem to be fine but someone told me to change them anyway. Any suggestions? Thanks.
it's the pinion bearing, also known as a right main side plate bearing. what you describe is classic!!!!
