Alan, I am a new member having just discovered your website. Excellent resource!!

I am trying to find out if it is possible to replace the factory drag washers of the Tyrnos with aftermarket carbontex drag washers. Smooth Drag does not have them available for the Tyrnos. Could some existing carbontex washers be modified to fit this application. If so, I would like to purchase 5 sets for my reels. Please advise.

the single and two speed tyrnos reels all have carbon fiber drag washers already!
