New guy here too

Hey everyone, I just recently found this site. I live in the central valley of Calif and fish for pretty much all the freshwater fish. Also recently started fishing for sturgeon which pushed me in the direction of purchasing my first heavy gear. Based on what I learned on this site I did my first drag upgrade on a Calcutta 700a, what a huge difference! Will be taking on my other 700 then on to my Okuma Convectors. Thanks for all the great info on here.

hi, mike, and welcome! i grew up on the east side of fresno. the neighborhood was sketchy then. i hear it's really bad now. we had a farm in clovis. dad sold it and moved to sanger. where are you?
