Had two brand-new 30s silver come in the mail today.  When I try to put one of them into low nothing happens.   You kind of feel spring on metal and a sound but no click like you do on the other one, for my prior three.

Needless to say I'm a little bit irritated.

Thoughts?   I got it to go to low a few times by pushing up a little arm a little bit. I've tried it under load I've tried it no load. I've tried different presets with load and no load.

There's something missing in the name real but I don't know what. I don't have time to fix it. Or look into it and it's brand new.

Send them back to Okuma, they will fix them.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Time is the issue.  Heading offshore next Fri for 3 days and not sure who all is bringing what tackle.  Need a couple back up rods.
