HI TO YOU ALL
AM STEPHAN FROM MAURITIUS
I HAVE A ABUGARCIA 6500 C3 OLD MODELS WITH A ANTIREVESE DOG WITH A SINGLE WING...THE PROBLEM IS THAT MY ANTIREVERSE IS NOT WORKING...I DISASSEMBLE IT AND I NOTICE THAT THE COPPER WING ON THE DOG HAS MOVE,,,IT HAS ONE SIDE THAT WAS PRESSING WITH THE CASING AS IF ACTING AS A SPRING...
I IT THE WAY IT SHOULD BE...
DO YOU HAVE ANY PICS OF THIS GUYS?
I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE EARLIER MODELS HAD THESE KIND OF DOGS AND THN ABU MADE NEWER DOG WITH DOUBLE WINGS...
CAN I MODIFY MINE AND PUT THE DOUBLE WING ONE...
WHERE CAN I FIND ONE OF THESE DOUBLE WING DOG,,,

I believe you are referring to

. Same set up but different size Abu. I believe the earlier models all had silent style dogs like the one in the pic.

Where are you located? It will give guys here direction were who you could contact in your region.

Na duh...The two wings press on both sides of the disk. When you crank the handle, the dog slides along, and when reverses, it moves to the center of the disk, engaging the dog.

Anyone in the Indian Ocean area can assist Stephan locate Abu parts?
