NO -- just get back to their 80's/90's business model (when they made their reputation) & undo their obscene fragmentation of the Company into Shimano Here / Shimano There

not even suggesting that all reels need to be Japan-made -- when they first outsourced the cheaper models to Singapore, that was just fine...  then, identical reels from malaysia were grossly inferior (at least, in my experience)
