Hey folks,
I am looking for a few Newell parts.

P-220 (OG) cross bars and 1 star drag or info on how to repaint the original aluminum ones.
S or C 220 side plate right (handle) side, no rings needed and 220 graphite cross bars with white newell lettering.
or 229 graphite spool, reel seat, and cross bars.

I have these frankened out reels that I am trying to restore to original fishing condition.  Hit me up with what you have and prices.
I know this may be a tall order, but timeeeeeeeeeeeeee is on my side, yes it is!

If you get a 229 spool then the 332 and 229 base and bars are the same parts.

Just did a search on ebay for the 229 parts and everything is there to build your reel. May be just as cost effective to buy a complete reel.

Depends on the part and where you put the powder. For a crossbar, you'd just have to keep it out of the screw holes. It does take some specialized equipment though. I have a gun and an oven and did the star on my 505 last year just playing around.
I could easily powder stuff for you. I have black powder only right now.
