East Coast Partyboats allow braid. Only in certain instances such as bluefishing or  tuna (bait) fishing.

Riy2018,

A fellow New York City man.....

Get that reel working and lets fish the Capitol Princess on Saturday for bass or blackfish....

That reel will benefit from the 50H handle fitting gear sleeve that I am trying to get enough people to get made for this reel, 30H and 30SH.

We can get Broadway too. He is a NYC man.

Anyone else want to come up to NYC next Saturday to fish????

Which port do you fish from?  I'm near Philly, but Sheepshead Bay is only an hour and a half away without traffic.

The standards are Cal's Universal Grease (for drag stack), Yamaha Blue Marine Grease (all internal non-drag surfaces) and TSI301/TSI321...
Thank you for information. Im ordering it now.

Has anyone thrown these for distance and what kind of results?

Thor,

Yes, I have one that I'm selling. Nice reel, I put it on a Penn 10' prevail 1-4 oz and I can hit 80 yards consistently in the park with dry line and a 4 oz bomb lead. It has 30lb mono mainline with a shock leader of 50lb mono. Selling because I've owned it for 4 years and have never cast it into the water, and because i really like my Pro Gear reels, so I don't have a need for it.
