You know Mark, I'm fluent in Italian, but some English words stump me at times, I had to look that one up.
I like it! ;D, maybe the boss will be ok with it.... ;D
What's the problem? It's a legitimate medical condition, referred to in Cialis TV commercials... but not by name, they just describe the symptom! You know, seek immediate medical attention for a... Well, you know the rest.  Alan's double dog stainless bridge can have that effect and you don't need a prescription!

As a matter of fact, Alan... I'm buying 4 bridges from you (to start). ;)
Ted, you only catch small fish... you don't need a ss sleeve... Case and point, your fish fit in 10 oz jars. ;D

Remember I'm on the waiting list for three of these.

They look great.

Thanks again for doing this,

Look up "Priapus" on Wikipedia. It's... <gulp>... highly informative.  :-X

(Oh, BTW, I'll buy one of the double-dog bridges, too.)  :)
I don't suffer from insanity... I enjoy every minute of it!  :D

Good to see we are all learning the uses of a good rod.  ::) Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Good call Dom, I was hoping you weren't going to pick up on that.

I do have 4- 113H reels that would love an upgrade during this offseason.

I received the custom bridge about three hours ago and got right on it, unfortunately in spite of looking awesome, it will need a little fine tuning

I installed the sleeve and the dogs were clicking nicely

plenty of room with the gear and dogs

and here is the little issue, the dog on the right will need to stay open or the bridge won't drop in, it's hitting on the plate.

I did a little grinding on the plate to give Alan C. an idea of what they need to deal with

it is working nicely now

I hope you guys appreciate this, I ruined one of my plate before this one ::).
At the moment it is still a big improvement from what we had, I have no doubts that Alan C. will get this right for us.
If he doesn't, I have one that works ;D

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Wow that plate looks awesome installed! From the area you dremeled out to make it fit, looks like it would fit in the plates that switch from left to right hand. The CAD illustrations that were posted before showed it on a plate the could switch from right to left. I bet that's what Alan used for the R&D of this bridge. So my guess is if you tried it in that kind of plate it would be a direct drop in.

Jason, good eye buddy ;). I tried these on three different plates, easy access and two others, but none have the left to right option. This makes perfect sense.
Alan did say they tested it,  I told him it couldn't be, but now I see why.
I do not have one of those plates, I give a lot of my stuff away, but from looking at my grinding of the plate, this bridge will definitely work on those.
This doesn't really help us, because the majority of the plates are as the one I'm showing.
I do not have any problems grinding the plate, but some might :-\.

I think most of the more modern plates have it but still your right doesn't help if it doesn't fit all the plates. I know most members won't have have an issue with grinding the plate but I don't think it can be mass produced if alterations are needed. See what Alan has to say.

Either way this plate will fit my magnum as is, so I'll take It ;) ;D

See what Alan has to say.
Would you like to see how many emails go back and forth when a new custom part is in the works? You won't have enough time to read them this evening ;D.
I'm sure they'll get it right, this was their first shot at it and it might not be their last. This is normal. ;)

For that I have now doubt how much work it is. Just the thought of the emails make my head hurt!  ;) I appreciate all the work you guys do and know Alan will take care of this!
