This reel has a lot of parts. Its not like my old Penns or Newells.  Outside of these photos, I've had the reel apart to chase down some minor issues. It free spools well and builds a lot of drag. I haven't measured the drag yet. I'll get a reading later today.  The grip is awesome, too. Alan has some great grips and arms for upgrading reels.

One more important word...  Hat's off and thank you to the guys here that do the really good tutorials. I had no idea what a pain in the rear it is to work on a reel and take photos with greasy fingers along with the rest of building a quality tutorial.

I easily got 20 lbs of drag at strike with full or close to full free spool. At about 15lbs at strike, I was getting 25-26 lbs at full drag.
