Hi, will these bars fit a 501 or a 349? should be same width Thanks Richie

They wont work in the 501 and 349 Richie, same width as you said but the screw spacing is a bit wider on the squidder, surfmaster, etc. Alan C (Black Pearl or Pro Challenger) does make a stainless spacer that fits the 501 and 349, here's a link http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=12127.0

Thank you Mike I was not sure of the spacing I ran into that on a 99 project last year
  ended up with  the wrong newell bars & stand that later  justified making a yellow tail special.
