I like my other JW rod so much I bought this one for Blackfish and near shore Seabass...Beautiful stick.  For sure the most expensive rod I have bought, but hoping to have it for many moons.

First off they shipped it in a 2"Ø PVC pipe...bam, that's awesome free shipping for sure.

Secondly, beautiful rod sleeve included, very heavy duty too, not just a cotton blend.

Thirdly, this thing is awesome  ;D

Then put some weight on the tip...(I know, not the same as off a reel but just wanted to get a feel for it).

6 ounces

8 ounces

10 ounces

12 ounces

Those will be my main weights with this stick, majority being the 8 ounces.

Hopefully a fishing report with it this fall!

Thanks for reading!

Real nice rod and the price is reasonable for what you're getting.

While I am usually on the frugal side, after using my bro-in-laws GLoomis rod in Alaska one time, I bought 4.

At $320 a pop, you'd think I lost my mind with my wallet. And two of them sit in a rod tube in AK for 51 weeks a years....WHAT!!! :o.  I got tired of carrying a bazooka tube every time. But I fish two here all the time. The price tag is steep but comes with lifetime replacement.

Most Jigging rods I've looked at recently are 4-7 bills. Crazy....just crazy.

Looking forward to hearing how yours does, Dan.
